  Tour Itinerary:  
 
DAY1 Tuesday: Egypt.
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International airport, you will be met and assisted by our airport representative, assisted through passport and custom formalities, and transferred to the hotel in Cairo for evening at leisure and overnight.
Optional evening activity: Pyramids Sound & Light show.
 
 
DAY2 Wednesday: Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, Old & New Cairo, Coptic Cairo and Synagogue of Ben Ezra.
After breakfast, meet your guide and start the tour of Cairo with a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, the 3 Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren and Mekerinus. Visit the majestic great Sphinx, which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grandest pyramid, Chephren. Enjoy the opportunity for a camel ride by the Pyramids. Continue with a visit to the famous Egyptian Museum; here we shall provide you with a brief but colorful insight into the five thousand year history of Egypt. Visit Old Cairo with the city's cultural landmarks that span three millennium of Egyptian history; the Coptic church , where you will visit the Hanging Church dating to the late 4th and early 5th century. This basilica was named "Al-Mu'allaqah" because it was built atop the south gate of the fortress of Babylon. Continue to the Church of St. Sergius, a 5th century Coptic Church. This basilica is built on the cave in which the holy family stayed and is regarded by visitors as a source of blessing. As we stroll along we will come to the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt built in 882 AC. Next explore the spices and silks in the medieval bazaar of Khan el Khalili, one of the largest bazaars in the Middle East and North Africa's most famous bazaar. Overnight in Cairo including breakfast and dinner

DAY3 Thursday: Sinai Desert / Morah by the Red Sea / Elim/Rephdsim/ Land of Goshen.
After breakfast departure by air-conditioned vehicle to St. Catherine via the tunnel underneath the Suez Cannel to the west branch of the Red Sea, following what is thought to be the route of the Biblical Exodus (Genesis 16-18). Our drive through the Sinai Peninsula and the Biblical land of Goshen to the Mount Sinai area (233 miles) takes approximately 6 hours. Next to Morah by the Red Sea; the desert springs along the shore of the Red Sea where the children of Israel found the water bitter. Continue to Alim and visit the desert oasis; proceed to Wadi Feiran (Rephidim), the desert valley where the children of Israel fought against Amalekites. Then on to Mount Serbal, the possible site where Moses held his arms up for victory. We continue inland heading towards the granite mountains of Mt. Sinai and Wadi El Raha, according to traditions the area where the Israelis camped and the golden calf was forged (Exodus 32). Overnight at St. Catherine - breakfast and dinner included.
 
 
DAY4 Friday: Mt. Sinai to the Red Sea / Mountains of Edom / St. Catherine's Monastery / Taba border / Arava border / Aqaba panoramic / Petra.
Early this morning, climb up Mt. Sinai Jabel Musa. Enjoy a time of praise and incredible views of the Sinai wilderness; Descend the mountain and return to the hotel to rejoin the rest of the group for breakfast. After breakfast tour St. Catherine Monastery, the oldest working Christian Monastery; built in 527 and 565 AC by the Roman Emperor Justinian and where it is believed God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush. The Greek Orthodox Church building is the oldest continuously used church building in the world. Depart along the eastern shores of Sinai Peninsula and on the Red Sea road north to the Taba border. After assistance crossing both the Taba border (Egypt - Israel border crossing) and the Arava border (Israel-Jordan borders crossing) you will enjoy a panoramic tour of Aqaba before continuing on to Petra. Overnight in Petra including breakfast and dinner.
 
 
DAY5 Saturday: Petra.
Today enjoy a full day of touring including exploring the rose red city of Petra. Upon arrival at the visitor's center, you will begin a most memorable day with a 20 minute horseback riding to the Siq of Petra (Canyon) followed by a guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury; the accompanying guide will give a brief history of Petra, followed by a full day to explore the Rose Red city including the Siq, Treasury, City center, the Royal tomb, the theatre, the high place. In the afternoon leave behind Petra for the transfer to Amman. Overnight in Amman including breakfast and dinner
 
 
DAY6 Sunday: Amman / Madaba / Nebo/ baptism site / Allenby or Sheikh Hussein /Tel Aviv.
Enjoy another full day of touring. Depart for a trip through the historical mountains of Moa'ab, stopping at Madaba the town with a long history first being mentioned in the Bible and in the Mesha Stele when it was a Moabite town. Visit St. George Orthodox Christian Church and see the mosaic map of Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan, Israel and Egypt. Proceed to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land in Canaan and where he died and was buried. View the ruins of the 4th and 6th century churches with their mosaic floors. Continue to Bethany, the site of John the Baptist's settlement at Bethany beyond the Jordan where Jesus was baptized, (John 1:28 and 10:40 and from the Byzantine and Medieval texts). After the visit depart for Allenby or Sheikh Hussein border crossings. (Jordan - Israel border) You will be assisted with border formalities on the Israeli side before being transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv including breakfast and dinner.
 
 
DAY7 Monday: Caesarea / Megiddo / Haifa / Acre.
Today, drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Continue on to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Baha'i gardens and Haifa bay. From Haifa, drive to Acre to visit the ancient city and harbor. Continue on to Kibbutz Lavi for an overnight.
 
 
DAY8 Tuesday: Tiberias / Capernaum / Banias.
After a short tour of Tiberias, we take a boat ride to Capernaum to visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and to visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Continue on to Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to Banias Springs and waterfalls and tour the Golan Heights. Return to the Kibbutz Lavi for an overnight.
 
  DAY9 Wednesday: Nazareth / Beit Shean.
Drive to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph's workshop and Mary's well. Drive to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Continue on to Beit Shean, a newly excavated city, and visit the Roman theatre. Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem including breakfast and dinner
 
  DAY10 Thursday: Jerusalem - Old City.
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city; visit the Church of All Nations, King David's Tomb and the room of the Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter within the walls of the city and visit the Cardo, the Temple Mount (entrance to the mosques not included), the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the oriental Bazaar. Visit the Garden Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem including breakfast and dinner
 
  DAY11 Friday: Jerusalem - New City and Bethlehem.
Drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation; proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the holocaust; visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Then continue on to Bethlehem* to visit the Church of Nativity. Overnight in Jerusalem including breakfast and dinner

  DAY12 Saturday: Dead Sea / Massada.
Drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls where originally found, visit the ancient city of Qumran and drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Ascend Massada by cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod's Palace. Descend back down by cable car. If time and weather permitting, an opportunity will be provided to float on the Dead Sea. Overnight in Jerusalem including breakfast and dinner
 
  DAY13 Sunday: Departure.
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure.
