Lycian Coast Cruise Turkey
  Tour Summary :
The tour begins in Marmaris, where we will board our Gulet yacht and meet our crew and fellow passengers who will join us on this relaxing cruise to discover the best of the Turkey's natural coastline. We will spend several days sailing east towards Dalyan, weighing anchor at Adali and Manastir Bay before arriving in Fethiye, a beautiful small town with history literally carved into its streets. We will then set sail westwards, stopping at several places noted for their beauty and historical interest, including the Yassica islands and Bedri Rahmi Bay, before arriving back in Marmaris. This cruise will give you the opportunity to explore numerous bays and coves hidden between the coastal towns, to visit natural wonders and important historical sites, and to relax while our expert crew takes care of you. The tour ends in Marmaris.

  TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Saturday / Monday: Marmaris - Arrive
Today boarding starts at 15:30 from Marmaris Harbour. Service starts on the boat with dinner and an overnight stay in Marmaris Port. Marmaris, which was built upon the antique Karian city of Phyckos, has been under the governorship of many different civilizations. Evidence of its long and interesting past can be seen throughout Marmaris: the Castle dates from 1577 and there is a mosque and an 8-room caravansary that date from the Ottoman Period. It also boasts a large and impressive marina. Overnight onboard. (D)

Day 2 - Sunday / Tuesday: Ekincik Gulf / Dalyan
Whilst you have breakfast today you will be informed about the boat and the cruise itinerary for the next week. The cruise will then begin at Ekincik Gulf. Today you may choose to join our Optional Dalyan Tour: you will be taken from the yacht by a small boat called "piyade". The first stop is Caretta-Caretta (turtle) beach, where you can swim and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You will then sail along the delta in the river boat to see the ancient Rock Tombs, before arriving at the mud baths which will both relax and rejuvenate you! The last stop of the tour is Dalyan, an unspoilt and protected local fishing village, before returning to the yacht.
Tonight we will enjoy dinner onboard and overnight in the Gulf of Ekincik. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

Day 3 - Monday / Wednesday: Adali Bay / Manastir / Tersane Island
As the seas of Disibilmez and Kurtoglu can be a little unsettled, we will set out a little earlier today to cross them and reach the famous Fethiye Gulf. We will anchor at Adali Bay for breakfast. For lunch and a swimming break we will then head to Manastir Bay: this is also known as Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Bath Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of a bath that have been found here. We will anchor near Tersane Island for dinner: this naturally protected bay, which is used as a harbour at present, was used as a shipyard in Byzantine and Ottoman times. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

Day 4 Tuesday / Thursday: Kizil Island / Fethiye
Today we cruise to Kizil Island for lunch and a swimming break, before continuing to Fethiye. Fethiye, which was known as Telmessos (or 'land of the lights') in ancient times, was the most important city situated on Lycia's western border with Caria. It is believed that the city's name came from Apollon's son Telmessos. As the name suggests, the city was the city of light and was famous for its prophets. Fethiye stretches out in a half circle along the bay protected by 12 Islands. Tonight you can visit the city centre and see what this beautiful town has to offer. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Fethiye harbour. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

DAY 5 - Wednesday / Friday - Göcek Island / Yassica Islands
After breakfast today we will be visiting the uniquely beautiful islands near Göcek island. Following lunch and a swimming break we will cruise to Yassica islands to spend the night and cherish the wonderful scenery. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 - Thursday / Saturday- Bedri Rahmi Bay / Domuz Island / Aga Limani
After breakfast today we will cruise to Bedri Rahmi Bay. Bedri Rahmi is a famous Turkish artist who undertook one of the first 'Blue Cruises' in Turkey; following his visit the bay was named after him. Today we will also visit Domuz Island for a swim and anchor in Aga Limani for dinner and our overnight stay. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

DAY 7 - Friday / Sunday - Kumlubük / Cennet Island / Marmaris
Early this morning we will cruise to Kumlubük Bay, where breakfast will be served. We will then anchor at Cennet Island for our last swimming break and lunch, before returning Marmaris Harbour by 16:00 p.m. Our overnight stay will be in Marmaris. Tonight you are welcome to go into the centre of Marmaris to experience some of the lively night life on offer, and enjoy your final evening in this enchanting place. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 - Saturday / Monday- Marmaris - Return
After breakfast today we will disembark the boat (by 10:30am). (B)
