Day 1: ISTANBUL.
Arrive and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay. |

Day 2: ISTANBUL.
Morning pick up from hotel to visit Topkapi Palace including the Treasury section of the palace (Harem is optional), St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L). |

Day 3: ISTANBUL (BOSPHORUS CRUISE).
Enjoy a half-day tour of Dolmabahce Palace or a cruise on the Bosphorus depending on weather conditions. Explore the city during a free afternoon. Optional dinner includes Turkish belly and folk dancing. (B). |

Day 5: ISTANBUL – CAPPADOCIA.
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Cappadocia region. Arrive in Kayseri Airport and transfer to hotel. Day tour to include hiking downhill in Rose Valley while exploring some older churches. Arrive in Cavusin Village, an old Seljukian and Ottoman village, visit the Cave Mosque. After lunch time continue on to Kaymakli UndergroundCity, the place early Christians hid from persecutors; Ortahisar with its castle. Overnight in Cappadocia (B, L). |

Day 6: CAPPADOCIA - IZMIR - KUSADASI.
Optional balloon tour. Depart from the hotel at 09.30-10.00 depending on the arrival time of the participants and visit the Imagination Valley where animal-like natural formations like camels and fair chimneys are abundant. Drive on to Pasabagi in Zelve area where monksused to live in seclusion in rock cut rooms. Proceed to the pottery town of Avanos where Kizilirmak (Hallys), the longest river of Turkey, meanders leaving the red clay on its banks that has been the raw material of pottery for centuries. After lunch break visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar. Continue on to Open Air Museum in Goreme to visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. After shopping time for the well-known merits of the area, transfer to the airport in Kayseri/Nevsehir for a flight back to Istanbul and connecting to Kusadasi. Arrive and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay. (B,L). |

Day 7: EPHESUSI.
Morning after breakfast explore Ephesus - 2,000 year-old marble streets, a theater, the library of Celsius, a gymnasium, and Hadrian’s Temple in Ephesus. Visit the Virgin Mary's stone cottage. Overnight in Kusdasi. (B,L). |

Day 8: PERGAMUM - ASKLEPEION.
Journey to Pergamum’s ancient acropolis, home to the Altar of Zeus and the Roman medical center of Asklepion, work site of the great physician, Galen. Return to Kusadasi for overnight. (B,L). |

Day 9: KUASDASI - IZMIR.
Our local escorts you to the airport for the flight home or to your beach resort extension. (B). |
