Tour Itinerary:

DAY 1: Wednesday CAIRO.
Arrival at Cairo airport. After you clear customs and collect your luggage, a our representative will meet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Check in and overnight at hotel in Cairo.

DAY 2: Thursday CAIRO.
This morning we drive to the Giza Plateau, home of Egypt's signature attractions: the Great Pyramids, proclaimed by the Greeks to be among the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. We visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian Sphinx, Memphis-first capital of the ancient kingdom to see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step pyramid.
Optional - After dinner on your own, return to Giza for a spectacular Sound & Light show. Nothing compares to seeing the Pyramids and the Sphinx illuminated at night; the visual effects as well as dramatic commentary make for an unforgettable evening. Overnight at our hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3: Friday CAIRO - ASWAN - ABU SIMBEL.
Morning transfer to Cairo Airport for our flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan; Optional - connect with flight to Abu Simbel for half day sight seeing and flight back to Aswan. Then we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship-our floating hotel for the next five days. After lunch, we sail by 'felucca' a traditional Nile sailing boat, to view Kitcheners Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. Optional - Sound & light show in Philae temple.

DAY 4: Saturday KOMOMBO - EDFU.
Today we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its huge lake, and the Temple of Philae. Then we cruise to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Dinner and Overnight onboard in Edfu.

DAY 5: Sunday ESNA - LUXOR.
This morning we explore the Temple of Horus, the falcon god. Then we sail to Esna and continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. Optional - Sound & light show in Karnak temple.

DAY 6: Monday LUXOR.
Optional - Hot air ballooning over the valley at the Sunrise. Today we check out after breakfast and then we explore the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon we visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. At the end of the day we are transferred to the train station to catch our overnight train to Cairo.

DAY 7: Tuesday CAIRO.
This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Accompanied by your certified Egyptologist, you'll stroll through the halls highlighting each historical period of this ancient land. Spend the evening at leisure on your own in Cairo or ; Optional - Afternoon take half day tours visiting not-to-be-missed the Khan Al-Khalili bazaar, abuzz with activity and offering a priceless perspective on Cairo's oriental character OR discover Cairo's churches & synagogues by taking the old Cairo Coptic half a day tour. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 8: Wednesday CAIRO - DUBAI.
Transfer from the hotel to Cairo airport for your flight to Dubai.
You will be met at the airport, and will be transferred to Hotel and evening free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Dubai.

DAY 9: Thursday DUBAI.
Breakfast at hotel. In the afternoon we take half-day sight seeing tour of Dubai city. The cosmopolitan city of Dubai has maintained its Islamic architecture and is obvious by such monuments as the 'Jumeirah Mosque'. A chance for a photo-shoot (if you wish) when the still of the moment guides you further towards the oldest part of the city. Batakia remains nestled amidst a bustling city where one can admire the serenity of the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants at the beginning of the century. "Al Fahidi Fort' nearly 200 years old houses the Dubai museum and reveals the history of this city. Travel through the colors of the textile market to reach the 'abra' station. Then drift across the creek in 'water-taxis' to feel the warmth of the city. At the other end we proceed across the busy alleys where the aroma of the 'spice souk' filters the surrounding atmosphere. Finally, dazzle though the glitters of the famous Gold Souk to round off the tour. Evening free for shopping.

DAY 10: Friday DUBAI.
Breakfast at hotel, morning free at leisure. Late afternoon we undertake a desert safari - Spend an evening under the blanket of stars in a truly Arabian setting. After dune rolling and watching the sunset into glory, we set up at our campsite. The evening passes with camel riding and sitting down for sumptuous BBQ buffet of assorted meats, salads and fruit.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 11: Saturday DUBAI.
Breakfast at hotel and transfer from hotel to Dubai airport for departure flight back home.
