DAY 2: DUBAI.

DUBAI Traditional Tour [4 HRS]
Dubai city tour will give you a glimpse of its ancient Arabian culture and heritage mangled with the modern cosmopolitan lifestyle. A fascinating historical excursion and orientation tour of the city. First we pass the beautiful flamingo lagoon. Our route takes us to Nad Al Sheba -home of the famous camel & horse race track. We will have a visit to the new falcon market, where you can see closely these amazing. Then we drive through Jumeirah and all its popular hotels until we reach the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque which shows the beauty of Islamic architecture (the mosque can only be visited on Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday at 10:00 hrs with a prior reservation.)We move on to the Bastakiya area, where we stop for a while to admire the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by, stands the 150-years old Al Fahidi Fort, which now houses the Dubai Museum. Here the Dubai museum records the city's past as an important pearl diving and trading centre. We continue our journey by Abra- a local water taxi which had survived over the centuries and which will bring us the spice and gold souk.

The spice trade gives the city its special oriental atmosphere and the famous gold souk will be a pleasure for your eyes. Dubai is a bustling city with its own individual charm… so come and join our tour and you will discover more of the hidden secrets of this town. Evening optional Desert Safari.

DAY 3: DUBAI - SOHAR - NAKHAL - MUSCAT.

Morning travel to Muscat. We cross the border into the Sultanate of Oman. Upon completing the visa formalities we drive into Oman passing magnificent sand dunes sculptured by the wind with knife sharp edges. We will drive to Muscat with photo stop at Al Hasam fort. The old village of Nakhal, which nestles below the fort gradually, leads to the famous warm Springs of Nakhal situated at the end of an attractive Oasis. Relax by the side of the shallow waters of the springs surrounded by lush green date plantations and steep mountain peaks. Drive through the date palms to the village of Nakhl and visit the Nakhl Fort. This fort once served the Imams of Bani Kharous and the Ya'arubah dynasty. After recent restoration work carried out on the fort, it is refurbished with traditional furniture, handicrafts and historic relics. The ceilings, the doors and windows are decorated with beautiful carvings. The view from the roof-top is very impressive and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. DAY 4: MUSCAT.

DAY 5: MUSCAT.
MUSCAT Traditional Tour [4 HRS]

Muscat offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial center existing in harmony with its traditional culture. Our First stop will be the Grand Mosque, which can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers and consists of a main prayer hall, ladies prayer hall, covered passageways, a meeting hall, and library. A single handmade Iranian carpet of 1,700 million knots and weighing 27 tonnes covers the floor of the prayer hall. There are five minarets, which are distinguished by their elegance and symmetry with the architectural mass of the Mosque. We continue to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said the ruler of Oman. We visit to Bait Al Zubair Museum. It consists of a concise collection reflecting the splendid Omani Heritage. We drive via the waterfront Corniche and visit the Muttrah Souq one of the most popular Souqs in the Middle East. Take a walk in its labyrinthine alleyways beckoning with a myriad of merchandise, from imported fabrics to exotic Oriental spices, perfumes and richly handcrafted Artifacts. A visit to this frenetic, pulsating hub of Muscat's old quarter makes for a delightful experience.
