Get ready to capture the sparkle of this Pearl of the Indian Ocean!! Arrive Colombo, a city that seems always on its toes, indifferent to chaos and kind of use to the clatter; nevertheless, is a must see destination. Visit the city through its various archaeological sites, and the National Museum. After a tryst with the chaotic plains gear up to climb the great heights of Sigiriya Fortress, a marvel and a sample of superb construction that should give any modern builder a run for several dollars! Remember to enjoy the awesome Frescoes in the fortress. As you slowly descend from this rock wonder, you will get all the time in the world to gather yourself up, by the time you reach Kandy, a soulful but laidback city. It offers you deeply religious experience at the Dalada Maligawa, the most sacred destination of Lanka.
