The nostalgic journey then brings you to Heliopolis the existing site for the Cairo International Airport. It glows with the old world charm of having myth logically linked with the Sun God Ra! And of course the much talked about, Mummies. While you depart something seems to cling on with us magical memories of this ancient land.

Tour Itinerary:

DAY 01: ARRIVE CAIRO.
Arrive at Cairo airport, where our representative will be waiting for you. He will then transfer you to your Cairo hotel. Check in and overnight.

DAY 02: CAIRO.
After breakfast, you will meet your guide at the hotel and depart for a full day city tour of Cairo: you will enjoy visiting the famous Egyptian museum and our invitation to lunch at one of Cairo's typical oriental restaurants. In the afternoon you will discover the famous Giza plateau hosting the legendary pyramids & sphinx. You will end the visit with a walk in the oldest bazaar in Cairo, the Khan-el-Khalili, where you can shop for souvenirs. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo

DAY 03: CAIRO – LUXOR (Cruise – Monday Sailing).
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Cairo airport to board your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, our representative will meet & assist you and escort you to your Nile Cruise, which will be your home for the next 7 nights. After embarkation enjoy lunch on board. Your afternoon will be free at leisure. Dinner and overnight onboard the ship

DAY 04: LUXOR.
Optional - Hot air ballooning over the valley at sunrise. After breakfast, you will start your touring with a visit to the Luxor museum. In the evening visit the complexes of Karnak and Luxor temples with your guide.

DAY 05: LUXOR - ESNA – EDFU.
In the morning cross to the West bank to visit the Necropolis of Thebes, the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening sail to Esna, cross the locks and continue on to Edfu enjoying the view while sailing. Dinner and overnight on board in Edfu

DAY 06: EDFU - KOM OMBO - ASWAN.
In Edfu, you will reach the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus. Lunch on board. Your ship will then leave for Kom Ombo. In the evening visit the temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and overnight.

DAY 07: ASWAN.
In the morning you will go off shore to visit the high dam, the unfinished obelisk and Philae Temple. You will be back on board in time for lunch. View Elephantine island by felucca (sailing boat) and view the Aga Khan mausoleum. Optional - Sound and light show at Philae temple in Aswan. Dinner and overnight onboard the ship in Aswan.

DAY 08: ASWAN – KOM OMBO – EDFU.
Morning free. Optional - flight to Abu Simbel for a half day sight seeing tour and flight back to Aswan. In the evening your Nile Cruise will sail back to Edfu where you will stop to see the Kom Ombo Temple. Dinner and overnight onboard the ship in Edfu

DAY 09: EDFU – ESNA - LUXOR.
In the morning sail to Esna. Visit the temple of the God Khnum. In the evening continue to sail on to Luxor, dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

DAY 10: LUXOR – CAIRO.
Check out after breakfast. You will disembark your Nile Cruise and be transferred to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. You will arrive in Cairo airport where our representative will meet you and you will be escorted to your hotel situated in Heliopolis (downtown area). Check in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Cairo.
Optional - After dinner on your own, return to Giza for a spectacular Sound & Light show. Nothing compares to seeing the Pyramids and the Sphinx illuminated at night; the visual effects as well as dramatic commentary make for an unforgettable evening.

DAY 11: CAIRO (DEPART).
Transfer from the hotel to Cairo airport for final departure.
