  SATURDAY    
  Day 01 ARRIVE DELHI  
  Anytime: Welcome to Delhi, India! a monumental city with a vibrant mix of old and new teeming bazaars, stately British boulevards, powerful Mughal palaces and forts, and intricate, ethereal towers, temples and tombs. On arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be met and assisted by our company executive and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi

  SUNDAY    
  Day 02 DELHI  
  Breakfast: At hotel  
  Morning:

After breakfast visit the Red Fort (photo stop), a massive sandstone fort built by Shah Jahan on the banks of Yamuna River, the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and standing across the road from the Red Fort, built in 1656 by Shah Jahan. Approximately 20,000 people can pray here at any one time. Then on to Raj Ghat, the cremation ground of the great father of the nation, Mahatama Gandhi.

 
  Afternoon:

Sightseeing in New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar, the tower of victory started by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in 1199AD upon becoming sultan of Delhi, the Baha'i Lotus Temple built in the shape of the lotus in marble as a symbol peace and a place where all can worship, India Gate (the war memorial) and the Presidents House (From outside).

 
  Evening: Optional: Dine at Veda. Delhi's most popular new restaurant was stylishly decorated by a top Indian designer and features a fresh, creative take on traditional curries. (USD 35/pp)

  MONDAY    
  Day 03 DELHI-JAIPUR (260 KMS / 6 HRS)  
  Breakfast: At Hotel  
  Morning: After breakfast depart for Jaipur.  
  Afternoon:

On arrival; check in at the hotel. Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital is also known as the Pink City. The origin of this nickname becomes immediately apparent as you enter the old city walls and greet the pink-colored buildings that rise at every turn.

 
    Optional: Visit the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing, a small textile museum dedicated to the ancient craft of hand block printing, housed in a recently restored 400 year old haveli. (USD 35/pp)  
  Evening: Authentic Rajasthani cuisine at local restaurant  
  Accommodation: Overnight in Jaipur

  TUESDAY    
  Day 04 IN JAIPUR  
  Early Morning: At Hotel in Jaipur.  
  Morning: After breakfast Half day city tour of Jaipur including excursion to Amber fort. At Amber fort visit Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol, Shila Devi Temple, Kesar Kyari Bagh. Climb up the fort on elephant’s back (Subject to availability) like the Maharajas and visit the Amber Palace of the Kuchchawa rulers.  
  Afternoon:

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visiting The City Palace, Jantar Mantar & drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Also Enjoy Rickshaw ride thru old part of Pink city.

 
  Evening: Demonstration of Gem-cutting & polishing.  
  Accommodation: Overnight at hotel.

  WEDNESDAY    
  Day 05 JAIPUR - AGRA (235 KMS / 6 HRS)  
  Breakfast: At Hotel  
  Morning:

Depart for Agra en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, an eerily abandoned capital from the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586. Akbar built this city to celebrate the birth of his son and future heir to the throne, Emperor Jahangir. While Akbar is believed to have been illiterate, he took great interest in the arts and architecture; Fatehpur Sikri is one of his masterworks. Sadly, it served as capital for little more than a decade, eventually abandoned for lack of accessible water.

  Evening: Marble craftsmanship demonstration

  THURSDAY    
  Day 06 AGRA - VARANASI (MAGADH EXP. 2330/0740 +1)  
  Early Morning:

Enjoy the sunrise at the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays). Often considered the pinnacle of Mughal art in India, the Taj was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. When declaring it a world heritage site, UNESCO described it as "the jewel of Muslim art in India". There are few words that can describe the magnificence of this monument. Marvel as light and colors transform this stunning monument in the beautiful dawn glow.

 
  Breakfast: At hotel  
  Morning Visit Agra Fort, built and added to between the 16th and 17th centuries by successive rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. The fort was built primarily as a military structure, but Shah Jahan upgraded it to a palace and later it became his gilded prison for 8 years after his son Aurangzeb seized power.  
  Afternoon: Cross the Yamuna River to visit Itmad ud Daula. The mausoleum was built by Queen Nur Jahan in 1622 in memory of her father. Many historians believe that this monument was Shah Jahan's inspiration for building the Taj and is often described as the "petite Taj."  
  Evening: Drive to Tundla railway station to connect with the train for Varanasi.  
  Accommodation: Overnight onboard the train

FRIDAY

   
  Day 07 VARANASI  
  Morning: Half day excursion to Sarnath (closed on Fridays) to visit the tranquil Deer Park where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment or as the Buddhist say set the 'wheel of dharma' or law rolling.  
  Afternoon:

  Evening: Enjoy Pooja ceremony (Arti) on Ganges Ghats.

SATURDAY

   
  Day 08 VARANASI- DELHI (FLIGHT)  
  Early Morning: Take an early morning boat ride to see pilgrims gathering on the Ghats to bathe in the sacred Ganges as the city begins to come Early this morning, before sunrise, drive to the Ghats on the Ganges to take a boat ride on the river Ganges. Witness the fascinating early morning rituals performed by Hindu devotees along the river bank which includes the cremation Ghats. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation Ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyres burn day and night. Every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on the banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death.  
  Breakfast: At Hotel  
  Late Afternoon: Transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at the domestic terminal make your way to the international terminal to check in for your onward flight.
