DAY 01: CAIRO. |
|
|
Arrival at Cairo airport, where our representative will be waiting for you. He will then meet and assist you through airport formalities and escort you to your hotel in Cairo, situated at the pyramids' area. Check in and overnight at hotel in Cairo. |

DAY 02: CAIRO. |
|
|
Buffet breakfast at the hotel 09:00 am start your full day tour to the Pyramids, Sphinx & the Egyptian Museum.
The Egyptian museum is the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Graeco-Roman periods, including the celebrated mummies of ancient Egypt’s king and Tut Ankh Amun treasures.
Pyramids & Sphinx The pyramids of Cheops, Chephran and Mycerinus were reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built of 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average Of two and one–half tons. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help But feel the wonder and awe that so many writers & artists have sought To convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is especially interesting since its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public.
Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren (2620BC). Hewn from natural yellowish limestone & standing 65 feet high & 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion’s body. At approximately 17:00 pm you will return back to your hotel & overnight. |

DAY 03: CAIRO. |
|
|
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 07:00 am start your full day to the monasteries of Wadi El Natroun which are approximately 2 hours driving from Cairo through the Cairo/Alexandria desert highway. The Monasteries you will visit are the Baramos, & Suryaini. Please note that most monasteries close for visitors on Fridays, Sundays weekly & on religious holidays.
After visiting the Monasteries at approximately 12:30 noon, you will continue driving on the Cairo/Alexandria Desert road for approximately 2 hours more till you reach the coastal Mediterranean City of Alexandria. Visit the Catacomb, the Pompay Pillar & the Montazah Gardens. After you finish the visits of Alexandria at approximately 17:30 you will drive back to Cairo.
At approximately 20:30 pm you will return back to your hotel & overnight. |

DAY 04: CAIRO.
|
|
|
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 am start your full day visit to Old Coptic Cairo. The churches you will visit are the St. Mary Zaytoun Church, the Abu Serga Church, the Hanging Church, the St. Barbara Church & the St. Mary Maadi Church.
At approximately 15:30 pm you will return back to your hotel & overnight. |

DAY 05: CAIRO – ST. CATHERINE
|
|
|
Buffet breakfast at the hotel
09:00 you will start your drive to St. Catherine Village in the Sinai Peninsular. The drive from Cairo to St. Catherine takes approximately from seven to eight hours.
At approximately 16:00 pm you will arrive at your hotel in St. Catherine Village, the hotel is called Wadi El Raha

DAY 06: ST. CATHERINE - CAIRO. |
|
|
02:30 am You will get a very early wake up call
03:00 am Start ascending Mountain Moses. At around 05:30 am you will reach the peak of the Mountain to watch the amazing scene of sunrise. After watching sunrise you will start descending the Mountain to be down at approximately 07:30 am.
You will return back to you hotel for breakfast
After having breakfast you will then be transferred to the famous St. Catherine Monastery, it's a drive of around 10 minutes from your hotel. (The Monastery closes for visitors weekly on Fridays, Sundays & religious Holidays (Eastern Christmas & Easter)
The St. Catherine Monastery has been in existence in the depths of the Sinai desert since the sixth century. The Byzantine church has been preserved here since its construction in 542 AD. Moses Well can still be seen near the monastery Church.
After visiting the Monastery you will drive back to Cairo.
Arrive Cairo & check in at your hotel "Shepheard Cairo" & overnight. |

Day at leisure or you can book an optional visit to Memphis & Sakkara OR to Islamic Fatimide Cairo

|
|
