Today we visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian Sphinx, Memphis-first capital of the ancient kingdom to see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step pyramid. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 03: CAIRO.

This morning we are transferred to Cairo Airport for our flight to Luxor. Then we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship-our floating hotel for the next five days. Today is free at leisure for last minute shopping or relaxing. Optional - This morning travel to Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city and main port, for a full-day tour. Founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC. Explore the well-preserved ruins of the Roman amphitheater and Alexandria Library. After lunch at a local restaurant, see the Fort of Qaitbey from the outside. Overnight in Cairo.
