DAY 1: Wednesday CAIRO.
Arrival at Cairo airport. After you clear customs and collect your luggage, a our representative will meet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Check in and overnight at hotel in Cairo.

DAY 2: Thursday CAIRO.
This morning we drive to the Giza Plateau, home of Egypt's signature attractions: the Great Pyramids, proclaimed by the Greeks to be among the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. We visit the great Pyramids of Giza and their guardian Sphinx, Memphis-first capital of the ancient kingdom to see the statue of Ramses II then to Sakkara to see the Step pyramid.
Optional - After dinner on your own, return to Giza for a spectacular Sound & Light show. Nothing compares to seeing the Pyramids and the Sphinx illuminated at night; the visual effects as well as dramatic commentary make for an unforgettable evening. Overnight at our hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3: Friday CAIRO - ASWAN - ABU SIMBEL.
Morning transfer to Cairo Airport for our flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan; Optional - connect with flight to Abu Simbel for half day sight seeing and flight back to Aswan. Then we will be escorted to embark on the Nile cruise ship-our floating hotel for the next five days. After lunch, we sail by 'felucca' a traditional Nile sailing boat, to view Kitcheners Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. Optional - Sound & light show in Philae temple. |

DAY 4: Saturday KOMOMBO - EDFU.
Today we visit the impressive Aswan High Dam and its huge lake, and the Temple of Philae. Then we cruise to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Dinner and Overnight onboard in Edfu.

DAY 5: Sunday ESNA - LUXOR.
This morning we explore the Temple of Horus, the falcon god. Then we sail to Esna and continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight in Luxor. Optional - Sound & light show in Karnak temple.

DAY 6: Monday LUXOR.
Optional - Hot air ballooning over the valley at the Sunrise. Today we check out after breakfast and then we explore the wondrous Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. This afternoon we visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. At the end of the day we are transferred to the train station to catch our overnight train to Cairo.

DAY 7: Tuesday CAIRO.
This morning we visit the Egyptian Museum the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. Accompanied by your certified Egyptologist, you'll stroll through the halls highlighting each historical period of this ancient land. Spend the evening at leisure on your own in Cairo or ; Optional - Afternoon take half day tours visiting not-to-be-missed the Khan Al-Khalili bazaar, abuzz with activity and offering a priceless perspective on Cairo's oriental character. Overnight at our hotel.

DAY 8: Wednesday CAIRO.
Optional extra day in Cairo with sightseeing city tours available. Optional- discover Cairo's churches & synagogues by taking the old Cairo Coptic half a day tour. Transfer from the hotel to Cairo airport for late night departure to Nairobi. Overnight onboard flight. (B)

DAY 9: Thursday NAIROBI.
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport met and assisted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure in Nairobi. (B) |

DAY 10: Friday ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast you will drive to the Aberdares region, a beautiful mountain range in the central highlands of Kenya. On arrival in your Lodge you will check in and have lunch at the Outspan hotel, which serves as the base hotel for Treetops lodge. This afternoon after your lunch you will be transferred by the lodge vehicle to Treetops Lodge. (B,L,D) |

DAY 11: Saturday KIGIO NATURE RESERVE.
After breakfast you will be collected for the day's drive taking you past the Aberdares mountain range, via the Nyahururu waterfalls to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, destination Kigio Wildlife Sanctuary. After Lunch proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon Game Drive returning to the Camp in the evening. (B,L,D) |

DAY 12: Sunday MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK.
Bush breakfast for minimum 4 pax (weather permitting). Departure at 0730hrs. After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. DAY 13: Monday MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK.
Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast. Whole day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Siana Intrepids Tented Camp. (B,L,D). |

DAY 14: Tuesday NAIROBI.
